The children in the 3-5 room said they would like to have a teddy bears picnic. They all brought in their favourite teddies and a lovely picnic was enjoyed by all. The children even shared their snack with their bears!

Little Einsteins Nursery Kirkcaldy (formerly Kingdom Kiddies) parents evening this year will be held on Thursday 24th of April from 6pm till 8 pm. Can all parents please see their child’s key worker as soon as possible to organise a suitable time. We look forward to seeing you on this date.
The afterschool class children were lucky to have a visit from a member of Kirkcaldy’s very own “Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Team”. Ross Cunningham talked to the children about the sport, giving them the opportunity to ask any questions and try on his team kit. All the children thought that this was fantastic.
The children in afterschool class celebrated Chinese New Year in style with a cookery demonstration from John McCabe, Head Chef of Methven House Nursing Homes which is next door to the nursery. John introduced the children to the art of Chinese cooking and the children enjoyed the opportunity for a tasting session afterwards. All the children loved John’s chicken chow mein.
With the milder weather we have had recently there have been more opportunities for the children to spend time outdoors. Here are some recent photographs of the babies in Arbroath exploring the garden area, having fun popping a ball into the piping on the wall and catching it at the other end. They also enjoyed playing on the outdoor play equipment.
There is always lots going on to keep the Little Einstein at Dundee busy. The 3 – 5 year old are pictured here playing parachute games. The 2 – 3 years are baking and on a visit to the Disney Store and we had a visit to the library where they had lots of fun exploring the shelves looking for books with pictures of buses in them as they went on a bus trip recently and are now fascinated with buses.
