Graduation Party at Little Einsteins Hillside Nursery

Posted by | Glasgow Mansewood, Nursery News | No Comments

We had a great time at our graduation ceremony and party at Hillside Nursery last week. All of the children’s families came along to view our fantastic slideshow presentation built up over their years at the nursery. The children who will be leaving the nursery to start primary school in August were presented with certificates and a framed graduation photograph.

Everyone went outside after the ceremony and the children made a wish and then sent off a balloon into the sky. We would like to thank all of the families who attended. We will miss all of the children a lot when they go off to school.

Fundraising at Little Einsteins Hillside Nursery

Posted by | Glasgow Mansewood, Nursery News | No Comments

We had a dress up and dance week at Hillside nursery recently. All of the children dressed up as either superheroes or princesses and were sponsored by their friends and family to dance for an hour every day of the week in fancy dress.

We would like to thank all of the children for participating and all those who sponsored them. We raised a fantastic amount of £296.00 which will be shared  between two charities, Happy Days Charity and The Brain Tumour Charity.

Filming

Filming Excitement for the Afterschool Club

Posted by | Kirkcaldy, Nursery News | No Comments

The children who attend the Afterschool Club at Little Einsteins Kirkcaldy were at the allotment in Ravenscraig Park where they have been helping to plant vegetables and flowers recently when they realised that there was a TV film crew working at nearby Dysart harbour.

The whole town has been buzzing with excitement at the news that filming was taking place so they popped over for a look and were delighted as they were able to see the actors in costume for the television drama, Outlander. The harbour area had been transformed with props to look like it would have done in the 1700′s and so the outing became a quick history lesson for the children too.
