Little Einsteins Dundee Nursery is located in Thistle Street, close to the city centre and can accommodate 43 children from birth up to 5 years. We are committed to providing the best care to the children who attend our nursery.
With a Nursery Manager to oversee the activities of the entire nursery, and two supervisors, children are supervised at all times by qualified Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Assistants, who are working towards SVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Education qualifications.

7.00am – 6.00pm (Monday to Friday)
We are open 52 weeks of the year and are closed only on Christmas, Boxing day, 1st and 2nd January should these dates fall on a week day.
The nursery closes at 4.30pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, should these fall on a weekday.
Please do not bring children to nursery before the start of session or pick up later than their end time.
Our qualified cook provides fresh healthy meals and snacks which are included in our Fees.
Our menus are on a 4-week seasonal rota and are displayed on our parent’s notice board and on the Enrolment page of the website.
Breakfast is on offer until 9.15am and a two course lunch is provided between 12 and 1pm. Snacks are provided at 10.30am and again at 3.00pm.
Milk and water are provided at snacks and mealtimes. Water and fresh fruit are on offer to the children throughout the day.
Snacks and meals are included in the fees. Vegetarian options are also available Children with special dietary requirements are also accommodated by the nursery.

In our 0-1 baby room there are a range of activities to stimulate the young children.
These include a messy area with sand/water trays, there are also art/craft opportunities to develop the child’s imagination.
There are musical instruments for noisy times and story books for quiet times. There is a soft play area for young babies.
When a child is tired there is plenty of opportunity in the sleep room for a peaceful sleep while other children are at play next door.
The child to staff ratio in this room is 3:1
Children in this room enjoy a variety of different activities including messy play such as sand, water, dough and painting just to name a few.
We also have lots of time for quiet activities such as reading stories, jigsaws and construction but the most awaited activity is playing out in our nursery garden and going for a walk to the local park and surrounding areas.
The child to staff ratio in this room is 5:1
In our two year old room we have created a fun, stimulating and safe environment for the children to participate and enjoy a wide range of activities to meet the individual needs of child.
These include art, construction, puzzles, role play, quiet areas for stories and music and a lot more.
We also have opportunities for physical play outdoors/indoors and for outings.
The child to staff ratio in this room is 8:1
This is a spacious, bright room which offers children opportunities to learn and develop through free play and planned activities.
We also have a story corner where children can sit quietly and read stories and also play with the musical instruments.
There is a separate arts and craft room for the children to develop their creative instincts.
Other activities include role play, sand and water play, a writing table which allows children to do their own picture.
They also work on their fine motor skills, learn number and letters.
